Since 1985, Lillian August has had licensed designs of home furnishings including furniture, decorative fabrics, area rugs, lighting, wall coverings, bed and bath, and artwork. Her sons founded her retail and interior design division that consists of five showrooms in Connecticut. With her product design and retail expertise along with Hickory White’s reputation of skilled artisans, she has developed her traditional European product line. Her new line with Hickory White was introduced at the October High Point Market. The collection consists of new finishes, an authentic antique reproduction line called Antiquaries, a couture line of upholstery and new transitional frames. Antiquaries is a collection of pieces that has been sought over the years from France, England, and Scandinavia and has been reproduced with reclaimed lumber, worn hand rubbed finishes and custom hardware. Come be inspired by this casually elegant collection.
